How does breathing helps while doing exercises?

Generally, the best method and effective method as per studies is, your body should be relaxed while doing any exercises. What does it mean? Example, if the trainer says 25 reps and you can do only 18, that’s where you should stop and not follow the 25 reps. If you push, you are going to hold on to your breath. If you do it within your limit, you can still breathe comfortably and also do the exercises. Later on, you can increase the count. This is where breathing helps, do it as much as possible where you can breathe comfortably.

I just started Yoga, but I feel drowsy during the day. Is this normal?

Feeling relaxed after Yoga or exercises can be normal, particularly when you are new to the practice.
However, persistent or unusual daytime drowsiness should not simply be attributed to exercises. It may be due to less sleep, better nutrition and many other factors. If it continues or affects your daily activities, consider discussing it with your doctor.

How can floor exercise help with back and neck discomfort?

The advantage of home-based floor exercise is safety, how? In the Gym, the equipment and weights control your movements, but, in the body weight floor exercise, you control the movements. Floor exercise puts less load on your joints and can help people improve strength, flexibility, mobility, posture, and physical function, which helps manage certain types of back and neck discomfort.

How the program can help

  • Build strength and mobility — Progressive exercises can strengthen the muscles that support your spine and improve your ability to move comfortably.
  • Improve body awareness and relaxation — Breathing practices and gentle movement can encourage relaxation and help you become more aware of unnecessary tension.
  • Support everyday movement — Improving strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility can make everyday activities easier and more comfortable.

If you have severe, persistent, or unexplained pain, or symptoms such as numbness, weakness, or loss of bladder/bowel control, seek medical attention rather than relying on exercise alone.
